The Association also provides a structure to disseminate information and take action on issues that affect our area. Examples of successful undertakings with Association assistance include the Natural Preservation Route, opposition to extensive development of the Shoreham Woods, and petition for an Environmental Assessment Worksheet on Sandy Beach. Your Board tries to keep abreast of local politics and lake-related agencies and can weigh in on relevant issues or advise you of activities of interest, such as weed harvesting and pick-up, Township Clean-Up week, water quality monitoring, etc. With more members and volunteers, we can do a better job! Please consider becoming involved in a standing committee or taking on a new issue!
